We all know James Bondthe suave secret agent working for Britains MI6. The hero uses gadgets and weapons of all sorts to stop those who would harm the world. The character has been made famous by over 20 films to date. Various actors have played the partincluding Sean Connery, Pierce Brosnan, and now, Daniel Craig.

The latest installation of the series features a young James Bond who is not yet a double-O agent. He is sent to take out two members of the secret service who had sold secrets to their enemies. Daniel Craig is a new James Bond who shows little trouble killing people. In fact, he seems almost too eager to get the job done.

Casino Royale is a reboot of the James Bond series. It doesnt follow any of the previous timelines. Its neither a prequel nor a sequel. Rather, it starts the series anew with a darker Bond.

Casino Royale places James Bond amidst a high-stakes Texas Holdem tournament at Casino Royal in Montenegro. The British government has bought him in for $10 million. He must play against the main villain Le Chiffre (Peter Lorre). If Bond wins, Le Chiffre will be bankrupt and unable to pay a terrorist to which he is indebted.

The movie was an unforgettable experience. The entire film is action-packed with more gunshots than you can shake a stick at. All the actors involved played their parts perfectlyespecially the new Bond, Daniel Craig. The movie continued far longer than I had thought it would. Even after the poker game, the story continues with more twists.

If you like action movies, you should go see this film. While it doesnt bring anything new to the film, it replicates the action formula faithfully. Its a movie-goers dream. The only things that could make this film a more enjoyable experience would be a large buttered popcorn and a large drink.
