Two months ago The Compass released the Official Lake State Ballot in which our readers could vote for different positions. Many questions have been raised about the results, wondering when they would be made available. We apologize for the delay, but the results are finally in! It was a close race with many positions differing by just a few votes.

For the proposals, all 6 proposals passed with minimal opposition. To refresh your memory, or if you did not get a chance to read the ballot:

Proposal One was to allot a two hour time block from 12:00pm to 2:00pm for nap time. Proposal Two was to adjust the academic calendar to allow a break for the Canadian Thanksgiving.

Proposal Three was to increase handicap accessibility around campus.

Proposal Four was to allocate funding for a miniature golf course in South Hall.

Proposal Five requires Dairy Queen to stay open for business year round.

Proposal Six is for a 24 hour pizzeria in the Center for Applied Sciences and Engineering Technology Building.
