Remember as you say goodbye to Lisa that no matter what your religious beliefs, these processes we are going through are for you. Lisa is OK now; she never has to struggle through this life again. What we do in the next few days we do to facilitate OUR loss, OUR pain, OUR memories of Lisa.

Do talk.

Talk about Lisa. Talk about your feelings. Talk about your memories of her. Talk about what a great person she was, how she made you feel, talk about her goals, her passions, her life.

Do listen.

Listen to your friends. Listen to the person you don't even know who was affected the same way you are by losing her. Listen to her family. You don't have to say intelligent things back to them. You don't have to say anything. There are no wrong answers and no rules to this. Just listen, let people express what they feel and think about this loss.

Do hug.

Embrace each other and be there for each other. Human touch goes a long way towards healing.

Don't judge.

Everyone around you is going to be trying to cope. Some people's methods are more socially acceptable than others. None of them are wrong, we all have to grieve however our mind, body and spirit need to grieve. Let them grieve and let yourself grieve.

WWLD

It's Lisa we're remembering. When it gets too hard to bear, just think, "What Would Lisa Do?" , and you know you'll be laughing in an instant. Lisa would want us to celebrate her life. Her life WAS a celebration. Let's be true to her spirit while we try to heal ourselves.

Take Care.

Above all, take care of yourself. We need you, too.
