The Fifth Element


After a mysterious red-haired woman (Milla Jovovich) crash lands into the backseat of his taxi, Bruce Willis accidentally becomes part of a legendary quest to save the universe from an ultimate, never-ending evil. The Fifth Element takes place in the exotic, not-so-distant future in which spacecrafts and hover cars are commonplace. Join him in his prodigious task to save everything he has come to know.
Korben Dallas is thrust into a quest traveling the solar system searching for the four elements of Fire, Water, Earth and Wind in order to stop an entity of pure evil from descending on Earth and extinguishing all life. Along the way he will meet dozens of colorful characters, shoot a ton of monsters, fly a spaceship and do many more exciting things!
A mysterious woman deemed the perfect being accompanies him on his quest. Speaking a strange and ancient language, Leeloo asks for his help in tracking down the last living descendant of an ancient secret: Father Vito Cornelius, the priest, armed with ancient scrolls dated back to the early 1900s, reveals their task and sends them on their way.
This film is the flawless combination of dozens of movie genres all assembled into 126 glorious minutes. Action unfolds in furious firefights and bone-crushing hand-to-hand combat regularly while intermittent by comedy, science-fiction and suspense! Theres not a single moment in this entire movie in which the viewer wont be laughing, gasping or looking on in total awe of its magnificence.
 Every bit of film has the minutest of details included. If you look closely there are dozens of little things on the set that are there for perceptive viewers to catch. Special effects are a fun, visual feast.
The only down side to this movie is the fact that it had to end sometime. As the credits begin to roll, you will already be hitting the MENU button on your remote to watch it again.

Final Opinion:
Get this movie--even if you have to kill for it.
