Stressing over Exams?

Exam week is coming up and you may already be stressing over those finals and not know it. Stress is the enemy of all college students and in the final week stress is unwanted and unneeded. You may not even know you have stress, symptoms vary from person to person such as: Weight gain or loss, upset stomach, muscle tension in neck, face or shoulders, dizziness or a general feeling of "being out of it", sexual difficulties, and problems sleeping.
There are many ways to relieve that exam stress as there are symptoms. When preparing for exams dont worry and be confident. Make sure to take time for yourself while you study. When youre studying for that difficult class and you suddenly find your mind wondering just stop. Stop what youre doing and work on a different subject. Take a break, work on something else and come back to it. If you find youre not staying awake in class or having an increasingly difficult time focusing, try to get more sleep. Sure the five or six hours a night may work for you during a regular college weeks but it may be the chink in your armor when battling exams. Try to sleep a full nights sleep and be consistent! Dont rob yourself of that A because you thought studying was more important; sleep is just as important.
Another important idea which I brought up earlier is, be confident. Take the exam by the horns, know youre going to do well, and dont think about failing. Another helpful hint is to do something enjoyable and relaxing. We all have hobbies or things we enjoy to do. Be it a video/pc game, reading or sleeping take time for yourself and your nerves.
So remember the symptoms and ways to relieve stress for finals week.
Take time for yourself while you study
Having trouble focusing? Move on to a new subject
Get more sleep!!!!!
Be confident to the point of being cocky
Find something relaxing to do in between exams and before and after
