Tracey Ashley Comes to Lake State

Tuesday, March 19, in the Cisler Center, Tracey Ashley graced us with her humorous comedy routine. The audience was sparse but full of laughter. Ashleys routine was a big hit with Lake State students; she ran the spectrum of jokes from race to relationships and back. Originally from Miami, Florida, Tracey moved to the Midwest to pursue a job and ended up losing her job and boyfriend. She found a new passion, making people laugh. She has toured all over the country making her NACA debut in 2005 at the Northern Plains showcase. She enjoyed the Lake State crowd; they were very warming and found the Sault very welcoming.
The audience enjoyed her comedy routine. Tracey Ashley isnt so much a fat joke comedian but a personal life comedian, telling stories of personal comedic torture and agony. She tells stories of her friends, families and of her experiences on the road. With original and brilliant material she had many students sitting in stitches by the end of the show.
Enjoyed by all who attended, Tracy Ashley made a good impression on Lake State and could possibly be seen again here on campus, will you be there?
