Dear Editor:
This letter is concerning the article Wisdom from the Wheelchair. I have sympathy for the writer for the broken foot; however she cannot complain about something that she did at a friends party.
The article was titled inappropriately. The title should have been Let me complain about Lake State and its students or criticism from a wheelchair or my foot is cold and I wont wear a sock.
After all the criticism from security to the library to the planetarium, the author went on to complain about the Secretary of State, then onto shopping where most places have wheelchairs with baskets on them.
After all the complaining she went on to say Overall, my time in a wheelchair hasnt been as bad as I thought it would be. She has got to be kidding. After all that complaining, it wasnt that bad? She even went on to tell the students:
You care too much about my cold foot but I wont put a sock on it.
Its rude to open the door for you.
Excuse Me can be said so many ways. It isnt what you say; its how you say it.
Finally, maybe you should use the crutches when in the computer lab or go into the main library.
Please dont write an article labeled wisdom when you dont have to be in the wheelchair nor will you have to be in it for the rest of your life.

Anonymous student.
