This Week In History....

March 30:

Today in history, is the day that George Washington cut down his famous cherry tree. He will be forever remembered for taking his ax to his dad's favorite tree. He was punished by being forbidden from the cherry pie and sent to his room without dinner.

March 31: 

On this day in history, bottled water was invented. It would later become a multi-million dollar industry, that we all support. News flash you can create your own bottled water by taking the bottle to the faucet and filling it up.

April 1:

Nothing happened today....It's April Fools Day....except for millions of practical jokes all around the world...come up with some of your own.

April 2:  

On this day in history the Miss America Pageant embraced the feminist's movement and burned their bras in a protest for equal rights. They were tired of being exploited for their bodies. 


April 3:

On this day in history, Paul Bunyan began digging out the great lakes and creating two peninsula's in Michigan. He spent extra time shaping Michigan so that you could create the two peninsulas with your hands. He practiced on the Grand Canyon.

April 4: 

On this day in history 42 became the meaning of life...take that as you will.

April 5:

Student Government absolves itself, realizing that they will try again the next year or the next one.

April 6: 

The first annual Naked Mile at LSSU.
