This project deals with the rate of transmission between birds and mosquitoes. Birds are known to sleep with their wings over their face to keep mosquitoes from biting their eyelids. Mosquitoes are known to bite, or feed, three times in its lifetime before it dies. Mainly this project focuses on sick and well birds and sick and well mosquitoes. Mosquitoes bite sick and well birds thus resulting in transmission of disease between birds and mosquitoes. The purpose of the research is to model this relationship and develop difference equations.
