Main Project Description Progress Calendar of Events Dimacs REU Website Rutgers Website	Project #: DDD2009-08 Mentor: James Abello, abello@dimacs.rutgers.edu , DIMACS Project Title: Point Configurations, The Weak Bruhat Order of Sn and The Majority Rule Maximal Chains in the Weak Bruhat Order of the Symmetric Group give rise to a special class of graphs called Persistent Graphs. These graphs are directly related to visibility graphs associated with point configurations on the plane and they encode transitivity of the majority rule. This project will study the combinatorial properties of this new class of graphs and their geometric implications.
