About Me
My name is Zhiwei Steven Wu. I am an undergraduate in between my sophomore and junior years at Bard College. I plan to pursue a graduate degree in mathematics and computing when I graduate. A career in the film industry is also in the cards.
Here at DIMACS I am working with my mentor Dr. Gene Fiorini on Graph pebbling and assorted graph theory problems (described in Research section). While at Bard, I also work as a research assistant with Prof. Greg Landweber. We study the Super-Symmetry represented by Adinkra Diagrams.
My academic interets also include philosophy and gender studies. I enjoy teaching a lot; during the spring semester of 2010, I was a tutor for Bard Prison Initiative, teaching mathematics in a correctional facility in New York State.
